Andrea Fellows is an accomplished legal executive with extensive experience in commercial real estate, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance. She serves as General Counsel of Amica Senior Lifestyles, Canada’s leading provider of premium, private-pay retirement residences. Since joining in 2022 as the company’s first in-house legal leader, she has built the legal and governance function from the ground up in a high-growth environment. Andrea leads all legal, strategic, and corporate matters, and recently acted as internal legal lead on the $4.6 billion sale by Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan to Welltower Inc.

Prior to Amica, Andrea spent over nine years at Oxford Properties Group, the real estate investment arm of OMERS, advising on complex transactions across Canada, the U.S., and Europe, including the US$25 billion Hudson Yards development. She began her career in the corporate real estate group at Goodmans LLP.

Andrea’s leadership has been nationally recognized through multiple industry awards highlighting excellence in leadership, impact, and her contributions to diversity and inclusion in the legal profession. She currently serves as a Director for Women General Counsel of Canada and as Director and Chair of Governance for the Pine River Institute.
