Chad Hutchison is the Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary at McCain Foods Limited, based in Toronto.

Formerly a corporate and securities partner at a national law firm, in 2006 Chad transitioned to an in-house career, serving as general counsel and in senior legal roles for a number of Canadian and global companies in widely different industries, including steel, semiconductors, and power generation.

Since joining McCain in 2015, Chad has led the company’s team of in-house lawyers around the world, playing a key role in transforming the legal function and guiding McCain through its continued global growth.

Chad is a Canadian trained lawyer and holds an LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School (93) and a Bachelor of Science from Western University.
