2026 Canadian General Counsel of the Year Award Finalist

Isabelle Durand is SVP Legal Affairs, Procurement & Data Governance and CLO at IA Financial Group, one of Canada’s largest insurance and wealth management companies. She oversees legal affairs, procurement, material resources, and data governance for the group.

She joined iA in January 2022 as Vice President and Chief Legal Officer. Previously, she spent fifteen years at Ivanhoé Cambridge, a subsidiary of the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, where she developed expertise in governance, investment, compliance, and operations.

Isabelle began her career in transactional real estate at Fasken and holds a law degree from Université Laval. She is also a Certified Corporate Director from the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés.
