Janie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Political Science from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Civil Law. Called to the Québec Bar in 2012, she began her career in boutique firms focused on civil and commercial litigation, advising on real estate and construction disputes.

She later joined Pomerleau Inc. as in-house litigation counsel, managing most litigation matters across Canada and the United States. She then moved to Devimco Immobilier Inc., where she built and led a legal team responsible for contracts, litigation and insurance supporting large-scale real estate development projects.

Janie joined Vantage Data Centres four years ago as Senior Corporate Counsel for North America. She established the Canadian legal division and oversaw legal processes in Canada, including governance, contracts, human resources, leasing and litigation, while supporting business functions and ensuring compliance. As the team grew, she recruited a junior lawyer and a senior paralegal and was promoted to Director, Assistant General Counsel, North America.

She sits on the Canadian leadership team, advises on strategic initiatives and supports major U.S. data centre projects focused on pre-development, real estate and power matters.
