Currently serving as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at nesto, Canada's leading digital mortgage platforms, Julien plays a pivotal role in shaping the company's legal, regulatory, and governance frameworks.

Before joining nesto, Julien spent nearly four years at AppDirect, where he rose to Associate General Counsel overseeing commercial transactions and strategic matters, and headed the AppSmart division's legal function. Early in his career, Julien honed his skills at two of Canada's most prestigious law firms: Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP and McCarthy Tétrault.

Throughout his career, he has maintained a steadfast focus on operationalizing and scaling legal operations, building high-performing teams and efficient processes that enable organizations to grow with confidence.
