Natalie Brown’s professional path is distinctive, having allowed her to work across multiple pillars of the financial markets ecosystem, including a private law firm, the financial markets regulator, and several financial institutions. This trajectory has given her deep expertise in securities law, financial markets regulation and governance.
At the Fonds de solidarité FTQ, Ms. Brown leads the Legal Affairs team, serves on the executive committee and acts as Corporate Secretary. She has also held interim executive roles as Vice President, Human Resources and Vice President, Marketing and Communications, further broadening her perspective on organizational leadership, culture and stakeholder engagement. These experiences have strengthened her ability to align legal strategy with business, people and brand considerations.
A key dimension of Ms. Brown’s leadership is her sustained commitment to diversity and inclusion, notably through her work on women led business succession and entrepreneurship. She has been actively involved in initiatives aimed at reducing structural barriers that women face in accessing ownership and leadership during business transfers.
Ms. Brown is also deeply involved with nature conservancy projects, namely as the acting president of the Quebec regional committee of the Nature Conservancy of Canada, She is also the proud mother of two excellent skiers.
