Niamh Pollak

Clio

In sixteen months, Niamh Pollak has closed two Canadian records: Clio's US$900M Series F financing and the landmark US$1B acquisition of vLex — the largest M&A transaction ever made by a private technology company in both Canada and Spain, and the largest acquisition in the history of global legal technology. The vLex transaction involved three simultaneous closings, thirteen jurisdictions, and four languages.

As Vice President, Legal at Clio — the world's leading legal AI company and a proud $5 billion Canadian company headquartered in Burnaby, British Columbia — Niamh oversees the full spectrum of Clio's legal affairs, spanning M&A, employment, product, IP, corporate and commercial matters, and complex commercial transactions across the globe, with extensive experience advising boards.

A dual-qualified lawyer called to the bar in both Ireland and Canada, Niamh began her career in private practice — including at McCann FitzGerald, one of Ireland's top law firms — before moving in-house in Canada. She serves on the Advisory Board of the GC Collective and leads its BC chapter, and has presented on M&A in legal technology at the International Bar Association's annual conference.
