2026 ADVISORY BOARD

Sarah Qadeer is Chief Legal Officer and Partner of Deloitte Canada and Chile. In this role, Sarah is responsible for setting the firm’s legal strategy, leading in-house legal and corporate governance teams in Canada and Chile, and advising on legal, risk and strategic business matters. 

Sarah has over 24 years of experience in corporate and regulatory matters from her tenure at a leading national law firm and in the capital markets arm of a large financial institution. Most recently, Sarah was general counsel and a member of the executive team of a large national retailer. She is a bilingual graduate of McGill University’s civil and common law program. 

A passionate community leader, Sarah is currently a GTA United Way Cabinet Member and is past President and executive of Legal Leaders for Diversity and Inclusion (LLD). She was previously the vice-chair of a large corporate foundation to help end youth homelessness. Sarah has been recognized as being one of WXN Canada’s 100 Most Powerful Women.
