Tess Lofsky

Ms. Lofsky is Executive Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary of Canada Development Investment Corporation (CDEV) where she leads the organization’s legal, governance, and compliance functions. In this role, she oversees legal affairs, the corporate secretariat, and provides strategic advice in support of CDEV’s mandate as a federal Crown corporation and the federal government’s trusted commercial and financial advisor and active asset manager, overseeing over $75 billion in strategic assets.
Prior to joining CDEV, Ms. Lofsky held senior in-house legal and governance roles across the natural resources and infrastructure sectors. Her experience includes serving as Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at North American Palladium Ltd. (TSX: PDL), Senior Legal Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Bird Construction (TSX: BDT), and Legal Counsel and Corporate Secretary at the Greater Toronto Airports Authority. Prior to this she practiced corporate and securities law at leading law firm Stikeman Elliott LLP. In addition, Ms. Lofsky currently serves on the board of directors of Frontier Lithium (TSXV: FL).
Ms. Lofsky is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree from the University of Ottawa, as well as a law degree from Queens University.
